Still a bit weird to have the saves and everything filling up my 250 gb of ssd space rather than going on my 4 tb hdd space but i guess there's nothing i can do about it, just have to wait a couple years and hope that games go back to putting savegames in the installation directory where they belong. With premade maps there is a way to get team mates in adjacent. It just doesnt start at twelve oclock and spawn player 0, player 1, player 2 as it goes clockwise or anything. I didn't use Galaxy Forge until tonight after I updated to 1.03, so I can't say for certain, but I changed the 'version' listed in the galaxy file from 0 to 1 and everything seems to work fine. so, now my question is, where exactly is the custom map stored so i can at least transfer it from my old ssd to my new ssd? Yeah, with everything I tried to get a random map to spawn allies next to each other, it seems that it generates the player starting areas in a truly random method. you can use CTRL+Leftclick to crate lanes between planets. now i started the game again and realized that, like all games nowadays, for some random reason this game too puts everything in random locations on the os-partition rather than letting me use the game-partition (which, of course, is on an hdd) for it's intended purpose. Previously i made a very nice custom map for myself which i spent a lot of time and effort on to adjust everything in a way that it is exactly how i liked it. just doesn't wanna let me boot because the os got ♥♥♥♥♥♥ somehow. still kept the old ssd (luckily) and can still transfer data to and from it. Problem: old os became non-functional, i got a new one and also got a new ssd while i was at it.
